Ms. Isabelle Proulx holds a Bachelor in Business Administration. She is the co-founder of Petrolia (PEA-TSXV), society for whom she has acted as Vice-President of Business development for 10 years during this period, she was also responsible for the social acceptability of the projects.
Chairman of the Board
Mr. André Proulx, who was co-founder of Pétrolia, founder of Ressources Appalaches and Puma, and has sat on the Boards of Sirios and Khalkos, will ensure that Stelmine achieves its goals.
Ms. Ann Levasseur has been an investment advisor with Laurentian Bank Securities for 11 years. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance. With extensive experience in the investment industry, she has been a portfolio manager and investment advisor for more than 20 years. She has also been the regional director of an investment firm between 2012 and 2017. Since 2017, she has volunteered her time to manage the National Council of Women of Canada, and in 2018 she was appointed to the Board of Directors. administration of Beauce Gold Fields Inc.
Ms. Gilbert has 10 years of experience in the mining sector and a profound understanding of the technical aspects of the industry and the legal considerations that are applicable to it. Ms. Gilbert practices corporate and commercial law, with a focus on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities matters. She has acted for public and private companies in public offerings, private placement financings and purchase and sale transactions and advises reporting issuers on corporate governance and ongoing compliance matters. Ms. Gilbert is also a professional geologist, member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec and has been involved in the exploration and discovery of gold, uranium and iron ore deposits on four continents: in Canada, Australia, Mali and in Guyana. She is a member of several boards of directors and committees of regulatory and non-profit organizations.
Mr. Christian Guilbaud holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Diploma in Economy. He has over 20 years experience in financial administration and his past experience includes positions in financial services and mutual funds management.
Dr. Boily is an expert geochemist and metallogenist specializing in the interpretation of precious and rare metal deposits in Precambrian volcano-plutonic terranes for the last 25 years. Prior to consulting for the mining industry and government agencies, Dr. Boily was involved as a research associate at MERI/McGill in the study of several rare metals deposits located in the Quebec province; notably the Strange-Lake deposit in Labrador (Zr, Y, REE), the St-Honoré mine in the Saguenay area (Nb, REE) and the Québec Lithium Mine in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt (Li). Since 1992, Dr. Boily has conducted exploration and technical evaluation of gold, base metals and rare metal properties located in Archean greenstone belts and the Grenville Province of Quebec, in the Anti-Atlas Proterozoic windows of Morocco, Northern Mexico, Argentina and Nicaragua. Dr. Boily graduated from the Université de Montréal in 1988 with a PhD in geochemistry and carried out post-doctoral studies at the University of Chicago. Since 1984, Dr. Boily has been the author of various publications in international scientific journals and has written numerous technical reports. Dr. Boily is currently a registered Professional Geologist in good standing with l’Ordre des Géologues du Québec.
Dr. Normand Goulet (Bsc, Université de Montréal; DEA and Doctorate, Université de Grenoble, France and PhD, Queen’s University, Kingston) is a full tenured professor in geology at the Université du Québec, Montréal. Dr. Goulet brings a vast expertise in the domain of structural geology, tectonics, deformation of metalliferrous deposits and petrology. He has over forty years of experience managing teams of geologists working for government or private agencies in Canada or abroad. In particular, Dr. Goulet carried out geological studies on the metasedimenary Opinaca basin and participated to the initial exploration work on the Courcy property. Professor Goulet directed several research projects on gold (Abitibi, Dominican Republic, Maroc, Mali), nickel (New Caledonia, Ivory Coast, Albania, James Bay), uranium (Otish and Torngat Mtns.), diamond (Torngat) and on polymetallic mineralization (Nunavut). He further participated in mapping and the completion of a new geological and metallogenic map of Mali.
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Lemieux has been working in the accounting field for more than 22 years. She has been a controller at the company since last year. Previously, she acted for various private companies as a controller and worked for over 5 years at a public company where she gained the experience that adds value to Stelmine.
